One of the German industrial designers has shared an impressive design concept. Jonas Daehnert has coupled the design of the Apple Watch Ultra with an iPhone Pro model. As per his knowledge, the Apple iPhone Ultra will be 12mm thick.
As mentioned above, Apple plans to integrate the design of its Apple Watch Pro. Therefore, the upcoming iPhone Ultra will expectedly have round edges and a flat upper rim. It is how Daehnert designed the upcoming Apple flagship device.
On its side, the Apple iPhone Ultra will have a power button, volume up, and volume down buttons. Moreover, the 12mm thickness shows that there will be a large internal battery. Additionally, there will be Ring/Silent switch. The Apple iPhone Ultra will have a programmable action button at the bottom left side.
The company may also add the international orange accent to the USB-C port at the bottom. On its sides, the USB-C port will have speaker grilles. This is very identical to all smartphones nowadays. In his tweet, while sharing the concept, Daehnert says,
“I have no idea about all the leaks. It was just an exercise to see if it’s possible to adapt the Watch Ultra design language.”
The upcoming iPhone will have camera improvements, a faster chip, a portless design, and a larger display. The reports further suggest that the Ultra edition will be a bit pricier than the iPhone 14 Pro models. Not to mention, the 14 series have a starting price of $1099.
As per Bloomberg’s report, Apple will release its top lineup somewhere next year. This means that the Ultra edition will come with iPhone 16 or Pro family. We are yet to have an official word from the company about its release. Moreover, reports say that the new design might come with iPhone 15.
There is a huge potential for the iPhone 15 Ultra to replace the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Later, Mark Gurman claimed that the iPhone Ultra is expected to debut with the iPhone 16 series. The iPhone 15 Pro model will also be thin and have curved bezels. This year’s iPhone 15 will have a titanium frame like the Apple Watch Ultra.
